Dr. Amber Robinson, Ph.D., RH(AHG), founder and CEO of The Bitter Herb LLC, is an Herbalist, Aromatherapist, published author, and educator. She obtained a BS in Journalism from Lincoln University and Herbalist and Aromatherapist distinctions from Heart of Herbs School under the instruction and guidance of author Demetria Clark. She has completed the rigorous requirements to become a Registered Herbalist with the American Herbalists Guild (AHG), as well as the requirements to become a Level 2 NAHA Certified Professional Aromatherapist with the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). Amber holds a Masters degree, as well as a Ph.D. In nutrition. Amber also received a (lifetime PLT) teaching certificate in 2007 and taught English at a small school in central Missouri where she wrote curriculum for the English department and taught various English courses for a decade before retiring to pursue her true passion full time. Amber has been distilling essential oils for years with plants she wildcrafts and grows on her 80-acre property in Missouri. Amber has been practicing Herbalism and aromatherapy for years, as well as making herbal medicines and remedies for her family and community. She is a wife and a mother of two active boys!
